Cat game of the day
Purtle.
A tiny daily word hunt for people who can recognize the difference between a purr and a demand.
Today’s puzzle
Find the
cat word.
5 letters today
Six guesses. One cat word.
The rules
Six tries.
One word.
Green is the right spot. Gold is somewhere else. A dark tile is not in the word.
The answer changes at local midnight. Every Purtle word is four or five letters long; the board tells you which. The rotation includes fifty cat-related words.
Start with a guess that covers common cat sounds, movements, and places. A useful opening word can reveal several vowels at once, while a second guess tests the consonants that give a cat its personality.
When a letter lands in gold, keep it in the puzzle but move it to a new square. When it turns green, protect that position. Dark tiles are your permission to stop wasting guesses on letters the cat has already rejected.
Your daily board is saved privately to your browser, while the same word is shared by every player. That means everyone gets the same little mystery, but your six-turn trail belongs to you.
Come back tomorrow for a new word, or send today’s result to a friend without spoiling the answer. Purtle is designed to be a small ritual: one puzzle, a little deduction, and then back to whatever your cat has knocked off the shelf.
